I’m a bit of a bookworm, and am open to reading many different genres. I’m also a pretty regular lurker of Goodreads, constantly looking for new authors and titles to add to my ‘To read’ shelf. As the first post in the ‘Books’ section of my website, I thought I’d just collate several of my favourite books (books I’d rated either 4 or 5 stars on Goodreads) from the last couple of years.
It’s a mixed bag – from WWII Europe, to the dizzying summit of Mt Everest and the dystopia of North Korea, to suburban Australia of the 1980s and ’90s, the flashpoint between Israel and Palestine, and even a sports autobiography. Hopefully there’s something in there for everyone. I certainly enjoyed all of them. Links to each can be found below the collage. From here on in, I will probably do separate feature posts whenever I have a good book to recommend. Happy reading!
